Hawaiian Deep Ocean Snapper 'Monchong'
Monchong is one of Hawaii's true hidden gems, a deep-ocean fish that chefs seek out and home cooks rarely find. The white meat carries a high natural oil that gives it a deep, buttery flavor and keeps it tender and flaky no matter how it is cooked.
That richness makes it remarkably forgiving, it holds its moisture on the grill, under the broiler, or in a hot pan, so it is hard to overcook and easy to love. If you want a fish that tastes special yet asks almost nothing of you, monchong delivers every time.

We cut to order and ship Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Order by 6PM ET on a ship day and your box goes out that same day. Orders placed after the cutoff, or on other days, ship on the next shipping day.
Mainland orders arrive 2 days after they ship, packed cold with gel ice, so Thursday shipments arrive Saturday. Island orders arrive the next day. You will get tracking by email the moment your box is on its way.
