Holiday shipping deadlines
Our fish is never frozen, so we only ship on days it can reach you cold. These are the real last-order dates for each holiday. Order ahead of them and your fish arrives in time.
Mainland
We ship Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday by 2-day air. Deliveries land Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

There is no mainland delivery on New Year's Eve. Our last delivery of the year is Thursday December 24, and we start again Thursday January 7.
Hawaii
Island orders ship next day, so you can order later than the mainland and we can still deliver on New Year's Eve. Deliveries land Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

On the mainland, nothing delivers between Saturday November 21 and Thursday December 3, or between Thursday December 24 and Thursday January 7. In Hawaii the only closed days are Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Any date you cannot pick at checkout is a date we cannot ship into.
Thanksgiving is the tight one
Nothing delivers on Thanksgiving Day itself, which makes Saturday November 21 the last arrival before the holiday. That is five days ahead, and the fish is built for it. Keep the vacuum-sealed cuts in the coldest part of your refrigerator, still sealed, and they hold beautifully through the week. Move a cut to the fridge the night before you plan to serve it and nothing else is required.
Giving fish as a gift
Choose the delivery date at checkout so the box lands on a day they are home, and tell them it is coming. Fresh fish is the one gift that should not be a surprise on the doorstep. If you are not sure of their schedule, an Ahi Club gift card arrives instantly and lets them pick their own week.
