We sell the same sashimi-grade fish that supplies the islands' best kitchens, and we stand behind every box that leaves us. If your order ever arrives short of the quality we promise, we make it right.
What we promise
Your seafood should arrive cold to the touch, clean smelling, and true to how it is labeled on the product page, by species, grade, and source. Fresh fish should look bright and feel firm. Frozen items should arrive solidly frozen. Sashimi-grade selections are chosen and handled to be served raw.
Why we can make that promise
We cut to order the day your fish ships, never from product sitting on a shelf. Each order is packed cold with gel ice in an insulated box built to hold temperature, and flown overnight so it reaches you fast. A little condensation or surface chill in the box is normal and a sign the cold chain held. Your fish should be cold when it arrives.
If something is not right
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo of the item. We will replace it on your next shipment or refund it, whichever you prefer. The short window and the photo let us see exactly what arrived and stand behind it without back and forth.
Email hello@theahiclub.com and we will take care of it.
What we cannot take back
Because seafood is perishable, we cannot accept returns of product that has been opened, cooked, or stored. We also cannot cover a box that could not be delivered as scheduled, for example one left out after a missed delivery or held up by an incorrect address. Choosing an arrival day when someone can receive the box keeps your fish at its best. A genuine quality problem, though, we will always make right.
Our standard
More than forty years supplying restaurants taught us that trust is the whole business. We would rather replace a box than have you open anything less than what we would send to a chef.
See Shipping for arrival timing, and Storage & Handling for keeping your fish at its best once it lands.
