I've ordered from them for over 10 years. I was skeptical about my last order until I cut into it. Ordered 3 pounds of Ultra and it normally comes in a single piece not individually, but i must say it was sublime, no waste.
ACAhi Club2 months agoAloha Gregory! Ten years and Ultra grade, you clearly know your fish. Glad this one delivered, the way you finished it says the rest. We appreciate the loyalty more than we can say. See you on the next order and welcome back to the club!
Hawaiian Ahi Tuna (Bright Red) - Sashimi Cut
Hawaiian Ahi Tuna (Bright Red) - Sashimi Cut
Pairs well with
Bright Red is Hawaiian ahi at its classic best, the tuna most people picture when they imagine great sashimi. It runs a touch brighter and more translucent than everyday number-one tuna, with higher oil and a low water content that give it a clean, lush mouthfeel.
It is the sweet spot of the lineup for a reason, refined enough for a sashimi platter, sturdy enough to cube for poke or take a hard sear with a rare center. If you want a fish that makes you look good with almost no effort, this is a safe and delicious bet.
Best for: sashimi, poke, crudo, and searing. Wild-caught Hawaiian ahi, sashimi grade.
A note on weight: Every cut is portioned by hand, so the exact weight varies slightly from the size you choose. You may receive a little over or a little under, and your order is billed at the listed price for that size. That is the nature of a fresh, hand-cut product.
